Optically Routed Gate Array

Optically Routed Gate Array is the result of a one dollar bet that there was reasonably mature technology in the late 19th century to construct digital logic state machines. It resulted in two SPIE conference papers one of which is here (abstract): http://dx.doi.org/10.1117/12.256247
